Who would have thought that planning a move would be such a complete drain on one’s creativity?
Alas, all my energies are currently being channeled into writing lists and little do-not-forget notes on yellow sticky tags. I’ve also written some reminders on my hand that seem to have washed off, and now I am at a loss.
Tomorrow I leave my favourite city in the world for a job.
But leaving Toronto means many unknowns:
Will my new favourite Toronto coffee shop survive without my business?
Where will I purchase my Saturday morning chocolate croissant, and in which park will I read my newspaper?
Who will replace Andy Barrie and Metro Morning on my walks to work?
Will I survive the harsh winter?
Will I be able to get over my pathological Torontocentricity?
Only time will tell.
Think of me.
